Description
The rapid progress of ICT leads SCM to global e-SCM. Albeit there is large expectation on SCM, Japanese companies face many critical problems to be solved while proactively implementing SCM. In this presentation, I would like to examine whether critical issues behind the problems can be solved through analyzing the development of ICT symbolized by fusion of digitalization and global network. I would like to also touch on a change of organizational border perception caused by emerging network virtual organization enabled by the development of ICT.
