Description
Communications in Japanese firms are recognized as those highly depended on context. However, it is only an overall image of communications reflecting Japanese culture. This research focuses on the dependency on context in the communication of Japanese middle manager and each of their five collaborators (colleague, subordinate, immediate superior, higher superior, and project member), and discusses about the difference of the patterns of its dependency from the view points of job type, age, and job tenure.
