System administrators are struggling with various issues, such as correspondence to periodical upgrade, in maintenance of the productivity software commonly used in the business environment. In such situations, the open-source office software (Open Office, LibreOffice, etc.) attracts attention as an alternate product to the Microsoft's MS-Office which is currently very popular. However, as they are not full compatible products and since there is a difference also in their usabilities, systematic alternation can not be easily conducted. <br>In this research, several important factors and effects were summarized based on experience of the companies which established introduction of OSS productivity software into their organizations.
