Abstract
In recent years, agricultural and water resources predictions, such as river discharge, drought, and crop yields, are performed in hydrological researchers using weather predictions with meteorological models. The initial land surface condition has important role for such meteorological weather predictions. The aim of our study is to develop land surface reanalysis and preliminary-analysis system in Pacific Rim regions. Using state-of-the-art meteorological forcing inputs derived from satellite observations, we improve the initial land surface condition with the reanalysis system.
