Description
In recent years, by the climate change accompanying advance of global warming, localheavy rain occurs frequently and has caused much damage, such as flood damage and alandslide disaster. On the other hand a possibility that a heavy rain can be controlled byusing cloud seeding is shown. Although many studies which promote rain are conducted,study aiming at heavy rain control is seldom researched. So, by this study, the experimentalsimulation which used the meso meteorological model WRF about two or more heavy rainexamples was performed, and the optimal technique for evaluating quantitatively about theexistence and size of a heavy rain inhibiting effect by cloud seeding was examined. Moreover,paying attention to change of each precipitation particle, The mechanism was analyzed indetail about through what kind of process with heavy rain control . The result was shownthat a strong rainy area is broadly controlled by cloud seeding or that hourly rainfall wascontrolled. Moreover, it was shown that it is an important factor which leads to heavy raincontrol that growth of the large hail of particle diameter was controlled by cloud seeding.
