Abstract

There are many large reservoirs in the world. Our intentional operation on their discharge has a great influence on stream flow conditions and the management of water resources. Therefore, it is an important issue that we assess their influence correctly when we assess current and future water resource and manage water resource on the basin scale.  The objective of this research is developing operation model which can simulate the amount of reservoir release in runoff model. In this research, I propose reservoir operation model by regression equation using time series inflow data, confirmed the validity at some reservoirs, considered how long years should be used for determining regress equations, and showed future issues.
