本分科会は、未来をキーワードに、エスノグラフィの活用についての可能性を模索するものである。文化人類学における知の生産において、エスノグラフィはつねに重要な位置を占めてきたが、近隣の学問や実務でも使われるようになるなかで、そのあり方はかなり多様化しつつある。本分科会は、未知の未来に対する想像力や洞察の手がかりとしてエスノグラフィを活用することを試みるものである。
