- 陽子線治療における生物学的効果比に基づく拡大ブラッグピーク形成
Description
陽子線治療の臨床現場では、生物学的効果比(REB)は一定の値として、物理線量が腫瘍内で一様となる深部線量分布で照射を行っているが、実際には陽子線のRBEは一定ではなく、深部に行くほどRBEは大きくなっていく。本研究では、イヌ扁平上皮細胞(S細胞)の株化培養細胞を用いた細胞照射実験のデータを用いて、生物学的効果が拡大ブラッグピーク(SOBP)領域内で一様となる深部線量分布を形成するリッジフィルタの開発を行った。 SOBP10mm、20mm幅のリッジフィルタの開発を行ったところ3.3%、4.7%の範囲で計算値と一致する物理線量分布を形成し、その際の生物学的等価線量分布の平坦度は3.9%、4.9%となった。しかし、粒子線治療には2.5%以内の平坦度が求められる為、さらなる精度の向上が望まれる。また、本研究で開発されたリッジフィルタを用いてS細胞に対する細胞照射実験を行い、RBEの計算値と測定値を比較し計算結果の妥当性を証明することも重要な課題である。
