Description

We attempted to enhance the correlation among exhibitions of different academic field in a university museum in order to evoke visitor's interests in exhibitions, in which they have little interest. The Hokkaido University Museum has an exhibition about the universe with three-dimensional vision controlled by the astronomical simulator software "Mitaka". Using the facility we correlated the exhibition of the universe with the Archaeological exhibition about Okhotsk culture. The questionnaire survey result suggests that more than seventy percent of the visitors cultivated interest in Archaeology, especially of Okhotsk culture, through the program.
