Description
Architecture are depicted in various movies, as parts of their representations or backgrounds. This paper discusses on a method to interpret images of architecture, which are described in movies, and brings up an educational material for learning the characteristics of architecture through movies. To begin with, this paper focuses on movies that depict the ancient Egyptian architecture, and verifies their characteristics. Not only the Great Pyramid, but also the large scale statues of the Abu Simbel temple or the Processional colonnade of the Luxor temple, express the image of mass or the hugeness of the ancient Egyptian architecture.
