抄録

We are proposing a new design of an observation support system for zoos utilizing cellular phones with GPS. In this paper, we designed and developed the contents including the navigation for general visitors to get visitors interested in observing more animals and better enjoy their observations in a zoo. We held a public experiment with visitors of Kyoto Municipal Zoo. The results indicate that our system improves visitors' interest and observations of animals.
