Abstract

In Japan people usualy estimate Karl Marx as a political economist. But his political economy can be seen as a social theory. Not only some theses of his theory is sociological but his whole theory is a system of social theory. In this system Marx emphasizes " production and reproduction of society". I think this is his most basic and important way of looking societies. " Production and reproduction of society" means that human beings produce and reproduce not only material goods but also social relations among themselves. In this paper I will explain the social relations as the main process of Gesellschaftformation.
