Abstract
We present a method of generating minimal surfaces bounded by given curves. Our method uses a functional which is found by Jesse Douglas in 1931. FFT is another important ingredient of our method. Applying this method, we can generate minimal surfaces more accurately than FEM in less time and with less memory.
