Description

I have presented the possibilities of interpreting The Mud Festival (Doronko-matsuri) and Red Seeds Have Burst (Akai mi hajiketa), originally being reading materials for the 6th grade, yet regarded as two texts. I have pointed out that the central theme of the texts, the "sexuality" of boys and girls, is still constrained by the normative gender and lacking in "the creative transport" from that restriction. I have also argued, through my analysis of the text called Siver Spoon (Gin no Sazi), that sexuality is an interactive relation betwen men and women.
