Abstract

"Oiso no Tora" a harlot who was Soga Jiiro's lover, continues to pray for the souls of the Soga brothers after their death. Her attitude is regarded as ideal for that of a woman. However, a deeper look into her entire life reveals the anguish and difficulties between men and women she experienced throughout her life. Through the pitiful actions of the woman in the scenes of "The Last Moment of Tora", her feeling against the opposite "saga" found only in the depths of her consciousness, are illustrated. That is the expressions of feelings of a woman who was obliged to live heteronomously in the samurai society.
