抄録
Hydrogen generation has been realized by heating the mixed sample of sewage sludge with additives of hydroxide nickel and calcium. Detailed experiments with various added amounts of both hydroxides have been conducted. XRD analyses have shown the formation of calcium carbonate as well as nickel oxide and nickel metal from the added hydroxide in the solid residues after heating for hydrogen generation. Hydrogen gas formed during heating increases with an increase in the mixing ratio of nickel hydroxide and the optimum condition to maximize amount of hydrogen gas formed would exist.
