Abstract

Health education in primary school was conducted with the use of multimedia materials developed by the authors to find out its effects in motivation of learning and expansion of learning environment according to the pupils' attitudes defined. The multimedia materials were developed with special emphasis on the basic idea proposed by V. Bush, "as we may think," embedding into the materials with several kinds of graphics, movies and texts on smoking, drinking and drugs. The results show that those who like to learning with computers get more advantage from multimedia and at the same time they could expand their learning environment with the multimedia developed much more than those who had less experience with computers. In addition to these findings, the authors are proposing such profound analysis as the document organization methods in the multimedia materials and the correlationship between two classes in the normal classroom settings.
