Description
This paper analyses the appreciation of art from the viewpoint of learning science. Recent studies show that the ability of appreciation can be improved by several trainings. One of the most famous trainings is the interactive interpretation called Visual Thinking Strategy (VTS) invented by Abigail Housen, a cognitive psychologist whose research and theories focus on art. VTS aims to develop ability through interactive classes and conversation. This paper analyses this theory and explores the best practical method to make the most of it. This paper will then submit the new hypothesis which is improved by learning theories.
