Abstract
In normal datacenter, a large amount of heat is generated by ICT facilities. Especially the occurrence of heat spot is linked to a decrease in air conditioning efficiency and a risk of overheat for blade server. To solve the problem, we focused attention on CO_2 heat transport system. This system adopts CO_2 as working fluid. And it is supposed to use of local air conditioning system. In this study, we looked at the property of cross-fin tube heat exchanger as local cooling equipment in this system. In this paper, we investigated the effect of air volume flow rate in natural cycle and forced cycle on this heat exchanger. In the result, pressure drop of working fluid has an increasing tendency as increase of air volume flow rate in forced cycle.
