Abstract

<p>Formed grindstone are normally formed with special dies and molds. Those method are difficult to make complex formed grindstone. A forming method of the tools by using 3D-printer is established in previous study. In this study, effects of using the abrasive mixed filament for geometrical accuracy were investigated by measurement of the roundness and surface roughness of the tool. It is confirmed that the geometrical accuracy does not become worse when the abrasive mixed filament was used. Surface roundness and waviness of finished surface by printed tool which has different gradient angle were measured. In the case of the gradient angle of the tool become over 75°, improvement of the surface roughness and waviness were not shown. The period of the profile curve of surface of workpiece correlated with the period of used tool. It is concluded from the result that: Geometrical accuracy of printed objects with abrasive mixed filament is equal to in case of commercialized filament is used. Surface roughness of tool is important because surface roughness of workpiece is effected of that.</p>
