<p>Three-dimensional artificial cellular tissues are expected to be used as transplantable artificial organs or biological tissue models for clarifying the cause of drag screening and diseases. By applying 3D printing technology to reproduce complicated structure. It can be constructed from cells into three-dimensional living tissues. In fact, it has been reported that cellular tissues produced by 3D printing technology can be applied as organ models and as implantable artificial organs. In order to fabricate three-dimensional cellular tissues by using the 3D printing technology, it is necessary to print the biomaterial gel capable of cell culture. As principal printing methods, there are a method of printing by a piezoelectric element and method of extrusion from a tapered nozzle. The former is capable of printing with high accuracy, but it is difficult to eject a highly viscous liquid. The latter is capable of printing a highly viscous liquid, but the precision depends on the nozzle diameter. For this reason, it has been difficult to print highly viscous liquid with high precision by the conventional discharge method. In this study, we printed gellan gum gel using micro 3D bio printer. Since the micro 3D printer prints by electrostatic force, it is possible to print highly viscous liquid with high accuracy. Since gellan gum gel gels with metal ion, it can be gelled in a highly biocompatible environment. By using these, it has been demonstrated that the gel can be printed with high precision.</p>
