抄録

Cup-drawing simulation of pure titanium sheet (JIS #1) has been carried out using PAM-STAMP. Hill's quadratic and nonquadratic yield criteria have been used in the simulation. Cup-drawing experiments (cup diameter: 60mm, sheet thickness: 0.78mm) have been carried out to check the validity of the simulation. Computed results of residual flange shape and cup height have been compared with experimental results. It was found that the location of ears predicted based on Hill's quadratic yield criterion was in good agreement with the experimental results, while the size of the residual flange and the height of the ear was about 0.6-0.7 times the measured values. This discrepancy between simulation and experiment may be attributed to the inability of the existing yield criteria to describe the plastic anisotropy of the pure titanium sheet accurately. Some experimental results of in-plane compression test and biaxial tensile test of the test material have been presented to check the validity of the phenomenological plasticity theory.
