- 1107 単相密閉型サーモサイフォン内の自然対流
Description
Authors have performed both experimentally and numerically and reported the detailed fluid flow and temperature fields in the single-phase closed thermosyphon with rectangular cross section. A very complicated flow pattern, especially near the middle height of the thermosyphon, which was created by the counter-flow between hot ascent and cold decent flows, was revealed. In the present paper, the velocity and temperature distributions in the tubular thermosyphon were investigated by means of tracer method and color image to temperature processing technique using thermo-sensitive liquid crystal powders. Comparison and discussion are described for both results of experiments and numerical simulation.
