Abstract
This paper describes the active feedback control of leakage-flow-induced vibrations in translational one degree of freedom system. This study proposes the active feedback control technique by using VCM(voice-coil-motor) control devices to stabilize leakage flow induced vibrations. The control performance is examined with varying the controller gain and phase-shift between the control devices and vibration displacement As a result, it is indicated experimentally that leakage flow induced vibrations are suppressed effectively by the proposed control devices.
