Description
The plastic gear receives the effect of friction heat by the contact between tooth surface and hysteresis heat for viscoelastic material. Especially, the friction between tooth surface greatly affects the plastic gear when used oil-free often. In the research on the exothermic reaction of plastic gear, the average friction coefficient is often used. However, by knowing the friction coefficient in the tooth form position, the experiment of the gear becomes unnecessary in this method.
