The binary parameters of the seven natural-gas related mixtures, i. e., CH4 + C2H6 system, CH4 +C3H8 system, CH4+n-C4H10 system, CH4+i-C4H10 system, CH4+N2 system, CH4+CO2 system and CH4 + H2S system, have been correlated as a function of temperature based on the experimental data of the vapor-liquid equilibrium. The critical curves and the dew-and bubble-point curves for these seven binary mixtures have been calculated by the Peng-Robinson equation of state and compared with the experimental data, which show good predictability of the equation of state. The critical points and the dew- and bubble-point curves for natural gases from six different districts have been predicted as methane-base multicomponent mixtures by the Peng-Robinson equation of state.
