Abstract
The research on molecular programming has been triggered by L.M. Adleman's paper on molecular computer that proposed a hypothetical DNA based implementation of molecular computer. Molecular programming is defined as the design and preparation of molecular units enabling intended logical calculations. The purpose of this review is to indicate the cooperative relationship between the progresses of molecular programming and crystal growth.
