Description
In dynamically changing manufacturing environment, it is difficult to optimize interdivisional scheduling which reduces total manufacturing cost following fluctuations in demand. To solve this problem, we propose a new interdivisional scheduling method which decomposes the whole problem into process-dependent problems and cooperates between processes using Lagrangean decomposition coordination method and adjusting production lead time. Additionally we examine the effectiveness of this method by numerical experiments.
