- 21pm2-F4 Construction of a DNA signal generator for directing DNA-responsive nanomachines
抄録
In addition to the bottom-up construction of a wide variety of nanostructures, various types of DNA-responsive nanomachines have been developed by taking advantage of sequence-specific hybridization between DNA strands according to the Watson-Crick base paring rule. For achieving an embedded controller of a molecular robotic system comprising DNA-responsive nanomachines, it is a major challenge to develop a reaction system that can generate distinct single-stranded (ss) DNA species in a programmed order. Note here that, it is impossible to achieve such a ssDNA generator by merely cascading individual DNA generating reactions. In the present study, we report construction of a ssDNA signal generator for directing DNA-responsive nanomachines.
