抄録

The heater built-in type thermoacoustic sound wave generator, in which micro ceramic heaters and fins were set, was employed. The flow observation and visualization were performed by the tuft method, in which Japanese embroidery thread was employed, for confirming flow around the resonance tube outlet. Inside the resonance tube, the typical oscillatory flow is observed far upstream on one hand and both strong flow reversal and contraction flow are seen just before the tube outlet on the other. Outside the resonance tube, the entrainment just behind the tube outlet, the pulsating flow in the central region and the intermittent flow in the outer region are observed far downstream.
