抄録

When Al was added to Fe-C alloys, they showed a good corrosion resistance quality as shown in the previous report. But these could not be of use in practice, their fluidity being extraordinarily poor.<BR>Then tests were continued in the same way stated as in the previous report and by adding Si to Al cast iron, the following results were obtained: Fluidity is improved when Si is added to Al cast iron. Even if Si is added alone to cast iron a good corrosion resistance is shown, but if Si is added together with Al the best corrosion resistance is obtained, and the fluidity is also improved.
