抄録

The Bessi Mine succeeded in underground cooling by employing cold water which we could get easily.<BR>In order to foll the underground air temperatore, the plate-fin coolers were set up at the inlets of lower and middle levels.<BR>As the resolts, the underground environment was remarkably improved; all faces whose average temperatore was standing at 32.0° were cooled to 28.3°C, and the air-born dusts were decreased to about 60%. In these improved environment, we could increase the mining efficiency and decrease number of accidents.
