抄録
Several mining methods, such as room-and-pillar, shrinkaga, cut-and-fill, etc, had been adopted to the mining of the gypsum at Wanibuti Mine.<BR>However, because of the weakness of ore bodies and the surrounding rocks, we couldn't find the suitable mining method for this massive deposit in view-points of safety, are extraction and mining efficiency.<BR>Since last year, we have attemted a method to be called “Inclined Slicing”, and obtained good results. The method is as follows:<BR>1. To prevent ore falls from the back or the breast, we made stoping face narrow such as long wall method in coal mine.<BR>2. To increase efficiency in moving broken ore to chute from the stoping face, the face is inclined at the angle of 30°C.<BR>3. To prevent filling in the mined out section from falling to the section to be mined later, face is advanced at the angle of repose of filling.
