抄録

It is seen that the stress distribution around the gallery opend in the stratified rock is different from that in the isotropic and homogenious rock.<BR>In this paper the authers have reported some results of theoretical and experimental investigations on this subject.<BR>The experiments were performed by the application of phtoelasticity using the epoxy resin and gelatine jelly as the photoelastic materials.<BR>Consequently, it was declaired that the non-isotropics of rock has a considerable effect upon the stress distribution around the gallery.
