Abstract
The authors have measured the pressure difference between the inlet and the overflow pipe, and the flow rate, i. e. the feed rate under various operating conditions.<BR>In addition to the above results, the authors have shown the following three experimental formulae:(1) The pressure drop through the hydrocyclone may be represented by the formula (3·6), (2) Flow rate may be expressed as equation (3·14) and (3) Flow ratio as the overflow rate divided by the feed rate may be expressed as equation (3·15).
