抄録

Many faulting displacements are usually accompanied by the rotating motion of the faulted walls. The movements, accordingly, cause the variation of the strike and the dip of veins or seams on both sides of the fault.<BR>The strike θ' and the dip β' of veins or seams after rotating displacement, can be expressed by the following formulas given by the author, <BR>θ'=f (θ, α, β, Φ), β'=g (θ, α, β, Φ)<BR>The rotating dislocations are frequently found by some relations derived from the above formulas, in which elements are given by observations. Namely, when one of the followings, <BR>ΦS=ΦD ΦS=ΦRΦD=ΦR β'=β'S<BR>β'=β'R θ'=θ'D θ'=θ'R<BR>can be obtained, the movement is certain to accompany with rotation.
