Abstract

Since 1948 years, we have experienced much working methods, for the mining of Mitui Tagawa thick seam 2.9-3.3 meter thick, and we recognized that hydraulic prop system for the supporting of the thick seam's roof, was better mininig method than another. By hydraulic prop's system, we have been able to mine the 3.4 meter thick coal seam without slicing method. Nowdays the amount of production of one long wall has arrived at 2, 300t per day.<BR>Therefor, we will report the experience of the hydraulic prop system and presnt condition.
