Description

Ground vibration caused by open pit blasting was measured.<BR>To obtain accurate particle-velocities of ground vibration, some corrections, such as noise elimination, frequency equalization and so on, were necessarily required.<BR>Experimental equations were deduced from the measurement which described the relations between maximum particle velocities of the vibration and some blasting conditions, namely, amount of the charge, distance from the blast, direction of the blasting, and the ignition method.
