Description
Thermoelastic stress analysis (TSA) is an experimental technique to visualize the distribution of the sum of the principal stresses with infra-red thermography on the basis of the thermoelastic effect. In order to compensate errors in TSA due to heat conduction, we have been studying inverse heat conduction analysis based on the mollification method. In this paper, simplification of the inverse analysis is considered for the purpose of practical application.
