Description

Dr.Kengo Murakawa who was the professor of Tokyo Imperial University, constructed own residence at Zoshigaya in 1911. Afterwards, he constructed villas at Katsuura, Abiko, Kugenuma, one after the other. The residence plan was based on Naka-roka(partition off areas by corridor in house) type, the popular plan of modern houses. And in addition, it was the rudiments one in that styles. But then, the villas were constructed by diverse plans. It was indicated his mind, adopted a new style of living actively when judged on a good case. And that was the consensus of middle class intellects in modern.
