Abstract

The district of jurisdiction of the 6th Regional Maritime Safety Headquarters is the Inland Sea surrounded by Okayama, Kagawa, Ehime, Hiroshima and southeastern parts of Yamaguchi. Marine accidents, on the Inland Sea, being apt to happen by many islands or rocks, strong currents and continuous ship's traffic, are amounted to about six hundreds times every year. This report is the result of investigation concerning with the present condition and the preventine measure of marine accidents on the above-mentioned sea.
