Description

The "inferential model" is proposed as new communication model replaces "code model" in pragmatics. The inferential model has the concept that inference plays an important role in understanding messages. However in project management studies, little attention has been given to the inferential model. So this paper introduces "inferential model" as a new communication model in project management. The understanding of "inferential model" will help project managers avoid communication gaps and successfully manage communication activities. I expect that more attention will be given to the inferential model in project management study.
