説明

A new acetal, lageracetal, was isolated as a plant component from the leaves of Lagerstroemia speciosa (L.) PERS. On the basis of the spectroscopic data and chemical evidences, its chemical structure was established as 1, 1-dibutoxybutane. Lageracetal was identified with 1, 1-dibutoxybutane, newly synthesized from butyraldehyde and butanol, in physical and other properties.
