Description

In the same way as in Kakkonda region, already reported, in Kuzumaru and Toyosawa region dacite activities are observed as the first products of the igneous activities extruded out in the depression lake on the “Oshuku-Iwasawa Tectonic Line” which extend from north to south along the eastern marginal region of tha “Ou-Mountainland” The dacite activities are divided in five stages having the time of repose between them. The products of every stages consist of lava, agglomerate, agglomeratic-tuff, pumiceous-tuff and detritus, having a tendency of decreasing their acidity as passing to later stage. In every time of repose, alternation of tuffaceous sandstone or sand and gravel are sedimented. Especially, in the time of repose between the fourth and fifth stags, some depression calderas of small scale are formed, in which sulphur deposits of peculiar tyhe are observed.
