抄録

This essay concentrates on Ochibanomiya's attitude and manner at the banquet, in particularly it questions closely the fact that Yugiri makes Ochibanomiya his own during the mourning for her mother. He deviates from the custom of both society and the family. Yugiri intends to make public the wedding, preparing the dinner and letting her present there, and this behavior shows the awkwardness of his love. Ochibanomiya is seated in silence at the dinner, which gives some hint to her modest resistance.
