Abstract

Installation examples of new materials at chemical plants were reviewed from the standpoint of corrosion engineering. Topics listed below were taken mainly from the experience being installed in the author's company. (1) Materials used by new design and construction method. (2) Coating materials. (3) Composite materials. (4) Ceramics. (5) Super engineering plastics. Various past corrosion engineering porblems were solved by using these new materials.
