Description
Fine formazan crystals were found throughout the vaginal epithelium in sections from vaginae frozen after TTC treatment, but were absent in sections from vaginae fixed in formalin after TTC treatment. They were not increased by oestrogen treatment. Coarse formazan granules were found only in the superficial layers in sections from frozen and formalin fixed organs. These coarse granules were greatly increased by oestrogen treatment.
