This paper reports on a survey which was conducted to factor out problems of physical conditioning and life-styles of teaching staff at Kyushu Dental College. The results are as follows.<BR>88.1% of respondents said that they were in good health. 68.3% of them had a tendency to react negatively to their physical condition. Among clinical staff, irregularity of life-style was clearly found in daily life. Generally, they had irregular meal habits in daily life. Clinical staff, in particular, were likely to have irregular lunch and dinner. 55.4% of them had less than six hours of sleep each night, which may lead to malpractice.<BR>The above results indicate problems in promoting good physical conditioning, leading a regular life-style, keeping regular meal-times and getting enough sleep. It can be concluded that various suggestions for promoting health maintenance and relaxation should be developed.
