Description
At Fukushima area, the larvae of the fall webworm, Hyphantria cunea Drury, which was considered as the third generation, was observed in 1978. Most of them died before winter, but a few of them completed their development and overwintered as pupae. The author discussed about the relationship between the weather in Fukushima and the occurence of the third generation of this insect.
