Description

I performed several psychophysical experiments and studied the mechanism of human object recognition based on Paivio's dual coding theory, since degree of viewpoint dependency is different between novel objects and ones we see every day. The difference of experimental results was examined,, by using the combination of solid parts with temporary names. I suggest that the existence of such verbal information influences the human performance of object recognition.
